The Story of two Photographers
Hey there! We're Ola and Tom, the dynamic duo behind the lens at Tom Wood Photography. Our journey into wedding photography is as unique as the love stories we capture. Let us take you behind the scenes of our own love story and how it led to our passion for immortalizing your special moments.
Tom, a born and bred Brit with a background in teaching, discovered his love for photography early on in life. Meanwhile, Ola, originally from Poland, brought her grace and rhythm from years of competitive ballroom dancing into the world of visual storytelling. Our paths crossed at a local Cotswolds pub and it was love at first sight (and first dance!).
As our relationship blossomed, so did our shared dream of creating a photography business that truly understood the essence of love and commitment. We realised that our different backgrounds gave us a unique perspective in capturing diverse wedding stories - Tom's ability to guide and instruct, and Ola's sense of movement and timing.
With Tom's patience & eye for composition and Ola's knack for capturing fluid, graceful moments, we decided to combine our skills. Our aim? To provide couples with wedding photos that not only look stunning but also feel authentic and full of life, beauty & grace.
Over the years, we've had the privilege of photographing weddings all over the world, from intimate countryside affairs to grand city celebrations. Each wedding has taught us something new about love, culture, and the art of storytelling through images.
When we're not behind the camera, you'll find us practicing new dance moves (Ola's always teaching Tom), exploring local farmers' markets in The Cotswolds, or planning our next adventure abroad. We believe that our love for life and each other shines through in our work, helping us connect with couples and capture their unique love stories.
